Dahilayan The Best Adventure Park?

Thanks for visiting this blog, i have new webpage, pls click on this link.

Philippines Beautiful Country

Have you ever been to Dahilayan Adventure Park? Have you ever tried their zip-line considered as the longest in Asia? If not, then this blog would be your guide there.

Philippines is indeed a beautiful country with beautiful people, Filipinos are known for being very hospitable and accommodating. Philippines is not only home of the friendliest people in the world, but as well as it has overflowing with wonderful scenery and amazing nature.

During my vacation in the Philippines my home country, from Saudi Arabia, I had the chance to visit and experience this popular tourist destination. Almost everyone that I knew had once visited there including my friends and family members. But being an overseas worker, I never had the chance of seeing it personally.

Unplanned Trip

It was an unplanned trip, after all there is a maxim that says "the best trips are those unplanned." It wasn't really our intention to go there, perhaps we were at the mall at that time shopping. After buying some stuff in the mall, I invited my family to probably take me to Dahilayan since I have not been there at all.

Of course they agreed and very excited to show me the place. We drove our car from Cagayan de Oro City going to upland in Manolo, Fortich, Bukidnon, where Dahilayan is located. Going there by your car is around an hour drive depending on the traffic on the road.

midday when we went there, the sun was up ,bright and shining, perfect for excursion. Going there is a fun adventure itself, upon reaching Bukidnon, you will see beautiful scenery along the road, like the vast pineapple plantation of Del Monte Philippines. And since the place is highland the air is cold and fresh.

Barangay Dahilayan

Dahilayan Adventure Park is located uphill in Barangay Dahilayan, thus it is name after its location (Dahilayan) in Manolo, Fortich Bukidnon. The trip is comfortable since 95% of its road is cemented except a few meters bumpy and puddled road. More or less you will not feel it especially if you are using larger vehicles like pickup or SUVs.

Manolo itself is a very relaxing place, mostly of the people living there are employees and dependents of Del Monte Philippines, Del Monte used to be an American company established a couple of decades ago. This company sells processed pineapple canned goods worldwide and Bukidnon is the perfect place for pineapple planting due to its chilly weather.

Wonderful Place to Visit

Upon reaching Dahilayan I was mesmerized with the view and its location. The place is cold with fresh clean air. It was December break and that the park was full of people from all over the Philippines. Hundreds of cars were parked outside, and people kept on arriving even late in the afternoon.

A couple of foreigners were also in there visiting the place, indeed it is a place of solace, serenity and peacefulness. There are many various rides you can try on like the longest zip-line in Asia, drop-off zone, ATV and many more fun activities. Since it was already afternoon and that I decided not to try their rides anymore, but just enjoyed the moment and its view.

It is a very family friendly adventure park, kids from all ages would really enjoy their activities. Likewise, for photography enthusiasts as there are too many wonderful sceneries where you can capture the moment with. They also have a decent restaurant and hospitality services.

The place is covered with huge pines trees as if you were somewhere outside the country, at dawn and in the morning the entire park would be foggy and cloudy. Dahilayan is a great place for honeymooners and newlyweds too, wanting adventure and homey experience. It is a place designed for everybody looking for solace and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle in the city.

It's a must place to visit when you are in Cagayan de Oro city, a place you will never wanted to leave, i cant wait to go back there soon.
