What Are The Secrets Of A Successful Employee?

Being a successful employee is not totally by chance or luck, or by fate or destiny. Just like a delicious dish, there are secret ingredients to become such and succeed to your field of profession. Applying for a job is a stiff competition, but it is stiffer to become a successful employee.

our main office is located on the 28th

So what are the secrets to become a desirable employee and succeed with your company, to note, there are many steps to be successful with your job. Based on my personal experience, i have learned some of the best recipes to be a successful employee that your company and colleagues tell you, "Your a good find for a company."

The following are the things which i usually do in the office which i believed among the basic steps to be a successful man in the workplace.

First, be polite to everyone - being courteous is not a difficult thing to do, nothing will be lost from you if you greet your colleagues in the office. Don't be snobbish as if the world has fallen upon you, being polite doesn't mean you are low and subordinate. In fact, it implies professionalism and humility.

I'm wondering why some people change their attitude when get promoted or when they become superior/boss of the company. A real boss is not someone who wants to be greeted by his subordinates, but i strongly believed that he/she is someone who respects his fellow under his supervision.

Second, be punctual everyday -- come on time or even a couple of minutes ahead. Being punctual is among the bases of knowing the best employees in the house. Many successful employees maintained this habit of coming early to the office. It is not only good for you, but it also helps you accomplish your task in a given time. Set your alarm clock everyday to wake up early to have ample time to prepare yourself to the office. If others come late, let them, do what is beneficial for you and don't imitate what others bad habit.

Third, do what you can do for the day, - finish all the task given to you for a certain time. Do not procrastinate, don't wait for tomorrow. Eliminate having the thought of "It's still time, i can do it tomorrow." Many of us have this kind of mentally, we thought that there too many days to do such thing. Not knowing that the best time to do our job is today.

When you have this attitude of finishing all your task, you will end up relax and stress free on the weekend. It also helps you avoid rush on deadlines and shun possible reprimands from your boss because of the task left undone.

Lastly, be humble and kind -- in the workplace it is very seldom to find meek and humble people. Everywhere is a competition even in your office there is a great competition for promotion, boss favorite, and salary increase. However, don't think about those stuff, instead focus on yourself, be humble and kind even if others are not. Nobody likes to go with a haughty, arrogant person, being humble doesn't mean you are coward. It just that you know the secret of not falling into trouble.
