Al-Khobar is a city located on the Eastern part of Saudi Arabia, it is in between Dammam and Dhahran City. Al-Khobar is facing the tranquil gulf sea of the middle-east, the city is also the gateway to Bahrain, a small island-like country connected to Saudi
Arabia thru the causeway.

Al-Khobar is home of many expatriates communities in the kingdom, from Asians, Africans and Westerns find the the city livable and accommodating. The city has many nearby malls for shopping, it has also a variety of restaurants and international fast food chain.

During the weekend people from all walks of life gather in the corniche to unwind along with their family and friends. I used to go there during my days-off taking photos and sightseeing the beautiful view of the beach.

Khobar is just 45 minutes away from Dammam international airport one of the busiest airports in Saudi Arabia. The city is also very safe and secured for expatriate workers, police is patrolling the main roads 24/7. Al-Khobar is among the best place to live in the kingdom, due to its lively and active lifestyle of the people.

The place is also considered less conservative and more open compare to Riyadh, religious police is more complacent and relax perhaps because of the huge number of expatriates residing in the city.
